STORY HIGHLIGHTS
A few notable stories showcasing my recent work

Former Boston Celtic point guard Bob Cousy was asked if anyone currently in the NBA reminds him of how he used play back in the 50s and 60s. Cousy responded, “Not really, because everyone has their certain way they play, but only in one case, Ernie DiGregorio. The way he saw the floor and passed was like me.”
LISTENING TOUR: AN INTERVIEW WITH NICK SAILOR ’17
Three years ago, Fox News commentator Laura Ingraham infamously said, “Shut up and dribble” on her TV program in response to criticisms made by NBA star Lebron James of former president Donald Trump. Ingraham argued it was unwise to take political advice from someone who gets “paid $100 million a year to bounce a ball.”

Cicero-North Syracuse hurdler proves heʼs the best in the state
Cicero-North Syracuse’s Camron Ingram has a claim to the title of best hurdler in the state. Now he has the record to back it up.
The junior set the New York state record for the 55-meter hurdles during the Ocean Breeze Invitational on Feb. 1 on Staten Island. He finished in 7.18 seconds. On top of the state record, his time moved him up to the fourth-fastest high school hurdler in the country.
The week before that, during the SCAC Metro Championships, he set the Northstars' school record with a time of 7.23 seconds. That was the third-fastest time in the state before he beat his own record.
Classmates, now coaches: Neild, DiBenedetto took different paths back to Campbell High
IT IS NOT unusual for former high school stars to return to their alma maters to coach the teams they once played for. What you don’t see too often is both varsity basketball teams at a school coached by two former players who graduated together.
Oh, and both were voted most athletic in high school.
It would be an understatement to say current Campbell High head coaches Hannah Neild and Justin DiBenedetto, both Class of 2015, have already left their mark on the school’s basketball programs.

A Lifetime of Blazing the Trail
If you ever hiked along a portion of the North Country National Scenic Trail in New York, there is a good chance Mary Coffin cleared the path for you. At 81 years old, Coffin has spent over half her life developing and maintaining trails from the Finger Lakes to Lake Champlain with the Adirondack Mountain Club.
The NCT crosses eight states and is the longest scenic trail in the country, but it would be tough to find someone who knows the trail in as much detail as Coffin. On the couch next to her is a stack of maps ranging from the entire 4,800-mile trail down to the 42-mile Onondaga Branch section that the Onondaga Chapter of the ADK maintains.
Bristol Carter’s Journey From Hospital Patient to Community Leader
There’s no half measures when it comes to Harwich Mariner's outfielder Bristol Carter. When he hits a single, he begins his plan of attack to score. Stealing second base isn’t enough, if he’s going to give his team the best chance to win, he wants to get home as quickly as possible.
Nothing will slow him down.
Carter is the same way off the field. When he gets an idea in his head there is no stopping him.
